Psyren Chapter 2
Sorry about the absence of posts. I have been on spring break and i totally forgot about my blog! Well here it is chapter 2 review of Psyren!
We find Yoshina still staring and taking in this alien world. He hears screams from a cave and runs over to it. There is a guy being attacked by some type a monster. A girl jumps in and kills the monster with her sword. This girl just happens to be Amamiya. Soon after that she passes out due to a high fever. Yoshina takes her to a abandoned building. There are other people in their. Before she passes out Amamiya tells Yoshina to find a payphone. The one in this building isn’t working.
Yoshina Talks with the people. They all have different theories about why they are there. Yoshina soon finds out that most of them are there for the reward. Something in the payphone activates. It sends them spiraling. Someone is talking to them directly in there mind. The voice tells them that if they want to get home they must win the game.
This was a short 25 page chapter. The backgrounds of the new world were well drawn. It is like a desert city. A lot of plot development in this chapter. I think that Amamiya and Yoshina have a good connection.
